Hilton has always treated hospitality as a relationship business. For its owner engagement team, handwritten correspondence was more than a thoughtful gesture; it was a core part of how the company recognized milestones, maintained trust, and made a global organization feel personal. The practice was deeply aligned with Hilton's DNA, but it lived apart from the Salesforce and digital ecosystem that supported the rest of the business.

The challenge was old versus new: preserving the intimacy of a hand-addressed note while making the workflow resilient enough for a global hospitality company. Hilton needed the activity to connect with Salesforce, enterprise systems, employee identity, owner data, and modern campaign logic without becoming another generic messaging tool. The team also needed a partner beyond earlier handwriting robotics work with Bond, one that could support Hilton's global audience and operational volume.

We designed Sincerely, Hilton as an owner engagement platform rather than a novelty layer around robotic handwriting. The experience connected Salesforce data with Hilton's single sign-on and employee login environment, The Lobby, giving corporate teams a familiar and governed way to send personalized notes. We also built support for AI-assisted writing, analytics, and recommendation logic that helped teams understand who to reach, when to send, and what kind of message would be most relevant.
The platform made it possible for users to create custom handwritten correspondence with the efficiency of a digital campaign tool. It supported executive use cases, including digitized handwriting for C-suite leaders who wanted the system to feel like their own personal extension. Underneath that personal layer, the system aligned the act of sending a note with the data, permissions, and operating standards Hilton expected from a modern enterprise product.

Sincerely, Hilton became an award-winning platform and a durable part of Hilton's relationship infrastructure. The owner engagement team sent tens of thousands of letters a year, and Hilton Honors later used the same system to send hundreds of thousands of custom written, personalized notes in 18 languages with the ease of a bulk email platform. Recipients loved the notes, and the platform has continued running for more than seven years.
Sincerely, Hilton protected the warmth of a handwritten gesture while giving a global hospitality team the infrastructure to use it at scale. The broader challenge is modernizing a relationship-driven workflow without stripping away what makes it personal. L+R helps enterprise teams turn operational nuance into durable, human-centered platforms.
