Ironic Reports leads the event weather industry by providing climatological insights for high-stakes outdoor weddings. Their existing process relied on manual assembly and integration of the insights provided by their in-house tooling. To streamline the process and provide a scalable entry-level offering, they required a platform specialized for wedding planners.
To transform historical climate data and current forecasts into a premium SaaS offering, L+R needed to find a way to wrangle nondeterministic systems into reliable output. The objective was to design an intuitive, AI powered product built on top of scalable architecture that drives subscription revenue while maintaining strict project management timelines.
Collaborating across strategy, design and engineering, our team created a predictable, extensible framework that would act as a foundation for quick and reliable LLM aided feature iteration. The climatology synthesis was built on top of the client’s suite of proven climatology modules. A full scientific report, including graphs is generated first, an LLM then curates the data based on client requirements, which avoids most accuracy concerns. We coupled this engine with a customized content management system for seamless operational control.
Delivered on time and within budget, the platform provides wedding planners with clear and accessible microclimate intelligence. By delivering complex data modeling through intuitive user design, Ironic Reports established a scalable foundation to roll out subscription services to its client database and expand into adjacent commercial event verticals.
