SATYA arrived with a working prototype and a larger ambition: to define a new category of immersive wellness technology. The device combined light, sound, and vibroacoustic therapy, with early evidence that the three modalities became more meaningful when experienced together.
What remained unresolved was everything around the proof of concept, from product language and physical form to the software, booking model, and production path required to make it real.
The challenge was the tension between a therapeutic instrument and the ecosystem needed to support it. SATYA could not look or behave like clinical equipment, but it also could not be treated as a conventional luxury object.
The experience had to regulate the nervous system while coordinating physical product, device operating system, composition tooling, facilitator workflow, and client booking into one coherent platform.
We engaged the full L+R Alliance across Strategy, Design, and Engineering, working alongside the SATYA team from positioning through product development. Strategy surveyed hundreds of meditation, wearable, wellness, and clinical products to establish SATYA’s place in digital immersive therapy. Design used Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest reviews to evaluate proportion at true scale, while Engineering designed the custom PCBs and led design for manufacturing from the first revision.
We selected Flutter as the device operating system and built SATYA Composer, a proprietary DAW that exposes every RGB LED and all ten vibroacoustic motors as addressable tracks.
AI-assisted signal processing helped translate audio, light, and vibration into one arrangement, so composers could shape the experience as a unified piece rather than three unrelated timelines. We also designed the booking platform connecting client, facilitator, and device.
The prototype became the S:9, a patent-pending flagship instrument with a brand, an operating system, a composition tool, and a booking platform behind it. The system has since been experienced in first sessions with prospective clients, investors, and influential figures around the World Cup in the Americas and the UN General Assembly. SATYA now has the foundation for a broader product family and the platform required to build it.
SATYA S:9 brought brand, industrial design, embedded systems, session authoring, and service operations into one premium wellness platform. The broader challenge is turning an invented category into something clients can understand, trust, and experience. L+R helps ambitious physical products become complete digital ecosystems.
